Sorting Through the Clutter
If you somehow were able to unearth my diary amidst the clutter of my room, then you would probably find something like this...

Sunday, February 18, 2007

I'm not really an anti-Valentine's day girl. Whether I'm single or attached, the sappy happy (albeit Hallmark-invented) holiday is a nice little bright spot in the middle of dreary February. I chose a bright red shirt and greeted everyone that morning with a "Happy Valentine's Day!" Although, I still felt a twinge of envy as I walked back from work and saw all the couples walking hand-in-hand to dinner, the girls carrying a bouquet of flowers.

Didn't need a guy to get me flowers or chocolate though: BCE place was giving out roses to everyone on Valentine's day morning. And then we got little heart-shaped chocolates in red satchels on our desk. :P

Didn't have a Valentine's date: R and I had sushi and then watched Lyrics & Music at night. Hugh Grant's dry humour is always on the mark.

Even as a single girl in the city, I quite enjoyed this year's Valentine's.
