Sorting Through the Clutter
If you somehow were able to unearth my diary amidst the clutter of my room, then you would probably find something like this...

Today's brunch was one of the best meals I've had in awhile. Not because they served such delicious breakfast food (and I looooooove breakfast food), but because of the wonderful company of two of my dear girlfriends.

I love leisurely meals that are enjoyed without any agenda. What was supposed to be a quick gab over French toast and eggs became a 3-hour affair.

We talked about everything from our love of bread, what we were giving up for Lent, to dreams of where to travel to this year. These girls are wonderful. They are brutally honest without being hurtful. They are unwilling to fawn over your achievements but instead they quietly and genuinely celebrate in your successes. They understand enough to distract you from things in life that hurt right now, but they also don't hesitate to ask about it. They inspire intimate conversations. But they can also make me laugh so hard I go into silent mode.
