I'm in Japan! Alive and well. I have very sporadic internet access but I decided to just write a few things about Japan.
- I have never bowed so much in my life - My cheeks hurt from smiling all day - I'm slowly learning a few (very few) Japanese phrases - Japanese people are incredibly polite - My host family are the nicest people - The heat here is unbearable - I now know why people in Asian countries all carry handkerchiefs - I have stopped making fun of people who carry umbrellas in the sun - The jetlag makes me feel like a wuss - Super-fresh sashimi!
