Tuesday, February 15, 2005 I was told today that I've lost that spark. What spark, you ask? That happy-go-lucky, schoolgirl, super-excited spark. Well it's missing from my blog, apparently. I re-read some of my old entries and it's true. You can practically hear the excitement in my voice when you read my old entries. And then all of a sudden, the excitement is gone. Strangely, it coincides perfectly with when I started work. Don't get me wrong though, I'm very happy with my job. So it has nothing to do with starting work. So...that got me thinking. What's different now from when I was back at school? And then it hit me. I'm no longer recording my excitement and fun. Instead, I'm living it! You see, I kept up my blog in university to keep my friends at home updated on my life. I didn't get to see them that often when I was away at school. Many of them could still read daily antics and know what was going on in my life. But now that I'm back at home, I'm enjoying my life WITH them. It would be silly to record the things I did, when I was actually with them when I did those things. So don't worry, the spark's not gone. It's very much still here. :) P.S. I can't believe you read my entire blog. It's not fair that you know so much about me without returning the favour. I read your MSN name today...aww...Herby! So cute! It made me smile.
