Sorting Through the Clutter If you somehow were able to unearth my diary amidst the clutter of my room, then you would probably find something like this... |

Wednesday, December 17, 2003 The original Mac Crew back for the annual Christmas/Jeff's Birthday dinner. It was wonderful. Yet, incredibly sad. Does that make sense? I drove back to hamilton tonight to meet up with the crew. We sat in the exact same spot two year's ago at Outback Steakhouse. We were talking about how fast the two years had flown by - and how much has changed (and not changed) since then. Actually it's been really difficult to get EVERYONE out at the same time this year - so the dinner was especially nice. Some of the people in the crew I had known since my first year, some of them I had met in my second year - yet all of them have a special place in my heart. We've partied together, studied together, gone on trips together, ate together, seen each other through various relationships, seen the coming and going of the John, seen the opening of our new weekly watering hole - Quarters, and seen each other at our best and our worst. It's not even the end of school and already I'm getting all nostalgic. We all went to Quarters afterwards and danced the night away. And somehow, during a strange moment when everything seemed to slow down, I watched my friends around me laugh and have a good time and thought it's never going to be like this again after we graduate. posted by Jenn | 4:12 AM | |
