Sorting Through the Clutter
If you somehow were able to unearth my diary amidst the clutter of my room, then you would probably find something like this...

Not much to write about. Been up to the usual stuff. Classes, meetings, assignments...etc.

I hate how meetings take up so much of my time. So ineffective. I only had two classes on Monday but I was at school from 11:30 until 9:30 pm.

Oh, I finally got my first interview! Yay! Remember all those company info sessions I was writing about a month back? Well, I've applied to about 14 full time, new graduate positions. Well, I AM graduating this April. I need to start planning what I want to do after that. In mid-October though, I started receiving a lot of responses. Unfortunately, they were all DECLINES! Declines for interviews - not even for a job offer. So depressing. Out of the 14 that I applied for, I received about 6 declines in about a week's span. Major blow to self-esteem. How that heck am I suppose to land a job if I couldn't even land an interview. And it seemed like everyone else around me were getting interview left, right and center.

I received an email from the recruiting office at Mac last week. Frig, another rejection email, I thought. I almost deleted it when a word in the email subject caught my eye: ACCEPTED. AHHH!! My first interview. You know, I don't even care if I get the job, I'm happy they even considered me. (Haha..that sound like some award show line). It's for Toromont CAT. I'll let you know if I get called back for a second interview.
