Wednesday, August 27, 2003 Met up with M, E, and J on Monday. M is one of the sweetest friends I know from Mac. And like everyone else in my life, she's moving away. She's moving to Montreal this Friday and staying there for the next year. I wanted to meet up with her before she left. Cool thing is that I'll be up in Montreal on Sunday. So I'm hoping to meet up with her again up there. We went to Korean town for some of the best food I've tasted in awhile. Korean food is really spicy...prefect for a cold winter's day. It's a little more difficult to enjoy when it's sticky, humid, and hot outside. But it was great nonetheless. The four of us crammed in this local Korean restaurant that served more than enough food to stuff you silly - all for $5. Cheap, delicious food rocks! Met up with some of the Mac crew yesterday night for some catching up. My travel buddy, E is going to Japan for a week before school starts! I'm so jealous. I just don't have the green to go travelling this summer - at least nowhere exotic. Went to Ottawa, Wasaga Beach, Muskoka and planning on going to Montreal - that's the extent of my travels this summer..so sad. I'm going to the spa TODAY!! yay! It's my first time ever at a spa and I'm excited. In an effort to butter up my friends, the boyfriend gave two of my best girlfriends and I a 50% off coupon for one of the ritziest chinese spa places. I could definitely use a spa day. Not that I've been stressing much this summer. But I'm still slightly sore from rockclimbing. 30 minutes of deep-tissue massage should fix that. posted by Jenn | 10:33 AM | |
