I just found out that one of my good friends from McMaster just got engaged! It's overwhelming! I am sooo excited for him and his fiancee!
And at the same time, I am so shocked. Sure, I've been to a ton of weddings before. A lot of my friends have gotten married in the past years. But that's only because I know them from church. All of them were years ahead of me. But this time, he's someone that I go to school with, someone I've gone through university with, someone I'm close to. He's my age (heck, he's actually a few months younger than me!) Wow, it makes me feel so old. :P
No matter how hard I cling onto childhood, the wave of "growing up" keeps on nudging me closer and closer to adulthood. I'm not ready yet.
