Sorting Through the Clutter
If you somehow were able to unearth my diary amidst the clutter of my room, then you would probably find something like this...

Tuesday, March 20, 2007

Today was my department's Ski & Snowboarding trip to Mount St. Louis Moonstone - planned by yours truly :)

It was a perfect day to be outside - brilliantly sunny and hovering a degrees below zero. Any other day this week and we would have been riding and skiing through slush.

Funny thing happened in the morning, as I was waiting for some of the stragglers to come in (one of the downsides of being an organizer)

(Two guys are walking down the hallway toward us)
me: Hi, are you two part of [name of bank]?
guy#1: Nope.
me: Oh sorry, we're waiting for a few other people to show up and I don't know what they look like.
guy #2: So did [name of bank] pay for your department to go skiing today? You guys only made [number] billion dollars last year.

Hmm....no wonder the big banks aren't getting much sympathy from people these days. They probably think that the bank pays for their employees' ski trips with their ATM fees.
