Sorting Through the Clutter If you somehow were able to unearth my diary amidst the clutter of my room, then you would probably find something like this... |

![]() Saturday, November 25, 2006 SO much stuff has happened since my last real post that I don't even know where to start. I'm definitely loving the downtown life. I love that I can get around by using just my two feet. I miss my car though :( But waking up in the morning to the sun rising over the lake is helping me get over that :) And then being able to walk to work is pretty awesome too. Yes, not having to deal with the commute from Mississauga anymore is such a blessing. I get to sleep an hour more every morning. And y'all know how I'm NOT a morning person. Roomie hasn't moved in yet!! Yes, after a whole month, she is still MIA. But I'm starting to get used to having the place to myself now! MUAHAHAHAHA! (heh..love you Roomie!) But the other day, I almost felt like she was intruding on my personal space when she dropped by unannounced. hehe..I know that's terrible to say, but yah. She knows I'm looking forward to her moving though :) I bug her every weekend about her being a super procrastinator. Halloween this year was super fun! Partied at the "Party of the Year". 150+ people crammed into a small little house. Professional DJs, heated patio, 3 floors of dance room. I don't think I've been to a house party that fun before. I dusted off the French Maid outfit. Even after 3 years, it was still quite a hit. Yay for partying with new crowds :) Hmmmm..what else? Went to a Charity ball last weekend. It was a ball! (get it?!) Re-wore my university graduation ballgown. (Haha..this month was the month of repeated outfits). The gown cost me friggin $400. You bet I'd wear it whenever I get a chance to. Tried Ethiopian food for the first time at AW's bday. Yummy. I had Ethiopian steak tartar. It was really tasty. It was also really raw :P I'm such a carnivore sometimes. Bottle service and VIP escort at K-poo's bday this past weekend. She definitely had a fun night (but perhaps not so fun a morning the next day). P23 came up from Chicago to join in the revelry. It was good seeing him. Didn't know he was such a fun dancer. Ok, that should be enough of an update for now... :) Labels: Life and the City posted by Jenn | 2:59 PM | |
