Sorting Through the Clutter
If you somehow were able to unearth my diary amidst the clutter of my room, then you would probably find something like this...

Friday, September 15, 2006

So it's official(!) I'm hanging up my steel-toed boots in a week's time.

I'm trading in my coveralls for a banker's suit. Haha..okay, not that I really ever wore coveralls (well, I did for one week), but you get the idea.

I'm a mixed bag of emotions right now. I'm sad to leave behind the only company I've ever worked for (out of school). There's an attachment one gets to their first full-time job. They took a chance on me, right out of university. So for that, I will forever be grateful. On the flipside, I'm super excited. Excited because I'm heading off in a new direction, working in a new city, venturing into an entirely new industry.

I'm also slightly in disbelief. I used to make fun of the people who work on Bay St. And now I'm joining them. Who would've thought so much can change in a span of 3 months?
