Sorting Through the Clutter
If you somehow were able to unearth my diary amidst the clutter of my room, then you would probably find something like this...

So after 1.5 days here in St. John's, I can say that it's fairly decent so far. My office is nice, the people seem really nice...they're just all a little on the old side. Which means everyone goes home after work to do family stuff. How come everyone in the heavy equipment industry is old?! I want to go out and see the town after work, but everyone has to run home. Sigh.

I met my potential roommates tonight. I visited their place and they seem incredibly nice. I could definitely live with them for the next couple of months. The only downside is the furniture in the room they're renting out. The bed is not very comfortable and old. I may have to splurge on a mattress and just leave it there when I leave St. John's. We'll see. I'm checking out another place tomorrow to compare.

I had genuine Newfoundland cod tonight for dinner! It WAS pretty yummy. Authentically greasy too :P

Tomorrow is Regatta Day. It's the only weather-dependent holiday in the world (I think). So tomorrow morning, I'll wake up at 6am to see whether the holiday is on or not. If it's raining, then we gotta go into work. If not, then off to the Quidi Vidi Lake tomorrow. I think I'll wander around and people watch :)
