Sorting Through the Clutter If you somehow were able to unearth my diary amidst the clutter of my room, then you would probably find something like this...

Hola Mola
There's always something weird about coming back from a vacation that managed to open up your eyes a little wider and make the world a little smaller.
When I walked back into my room last night, I felt like I had been gone forever, yet at the same time, like I had never left at all. Everything was exactly how I left it. But I came back with all these new memories and experiences. I wasn't the same person who had left a week ago. Holding hands with tiny Indigenous Embera children, travelling along zip lines high above the rainforest, swimming in a waterfall deep in the rainforest, seeing one of the greatest man-made wonders of the world. And I got to share these experiences with someone so dear to me.
I wish I was back on the beach, sitting next to him, breathing in the ocean air.
It's weird. Just 48 hours ago, I was there. How can a 5-hour plane ride make such a big difference?
