Sorting Through the Clutter
If you somehow were able to unearth my diary amidst the clutter of my room, then you would probably find something like this...

Beaches Jazz Festival on the weekend was so relaxing. Well, not the walking part...my feet were killing me by midnight. But the music was so much fun. It's like a giant block party, and you never know when you'll bump into a familiar face.

I love the Tdot in the summer. It's such a fantastic feeling to be walking in the warm night air, listening to Spanish guitars amidst street vendors trying to lure you into buying a piece of silver. It's almost feels like you've left Toronto and are back in some Latin country. I'm listening to a CD I bought that night from a street Flamenco band. Love it.

So guess where I'll be in exactly one week's time. I'm going to be in Newfoundland. Yup, byebye busy Toronto streets, hello Celtic music and seafood. haha..I'm so ignorant. I have no idea what to really expect there.

I'm a little scared. I've never ventured so far, for so long, all by my lonesome. Who am I going to hang out with on the weekends? I guess I should learn to enjoy things on my own. I'm such a incredibly social person that I always need people around me. It's going to be quite a change.

I'll be there until early Winter. Dude, Newfoundland winter. I can barely survive an Ontario winter.
