Sorting Through the Clutter
If you somehow were able to unearth my diary amidst the clutter of my room, then you would probably find something like this...

So I've been away for awhile. Well, not away-away. As in I haven't been travelling. I've started my grown-up life. More or less grown up, I guess...because I still feel like a kid. I keep referring to myself as a student. And it's not because I purposely want to get away with the student rate at movies or at the climbing gym, it's because my mind is still convinced that I am.

So yes, the grown up life is definitely not as crazy as the university kid life. Definitely tamer bedtimes. I remember in the summer after first year, I balked at what time my co-worker slept at - 10:30pm!!! Why in the world would I sleep early if I had no homework to do or assignments to rush?! But I find myself crawling into bed at 12:30am (well, not tonight) because I want to be awake and alert at work the next morning. You can sleep through lectures, but you can't sleep through meetings (even though I've come close). I turned down a night of salsa dancing tonight to finish a project for work. Believe me, I'd rather be swaying my hips to calypso beats than typing away on my laptop. But there's no way I can pull an all-nighter to finish this project after stumbling home from the salsa club. Maybe next week.

But it the grown up world isn't that bad. I definitely don't miss 30 hours of class a week and then 30 more hours of homework/assignments/studying.

So that's what I've been up to in the past month of so. It's been pretty crazy at work. But work hard, party harder. Don't worry...I'm still having fun. ;)
