Sorting Through the Clutter If you somehow were able to unearth my diary amidst the clutter of my room, then you would probably find something like this...

I'm taking quite a few 'artsie' courses right now. There's this one course, where we actually sit around an object and we have to sketch it. I haven't done any still-life sketching for so long. It's an engineering course, mind you, but we were required to purchase a sketch pad, charcoal pencil, and marker pens. I was walking around with my sketch pad and I bet you that I could've sat down in the arts quad and pass for an arts student (of course my Mech Eng sweatshirt would've given it away).
Another course I'm taking requires us to write essays upon essays. I finally get to write using 'flowery words', instead of the usual technical jargon in my engineering reports. We philosophize about the ethics of right verses wrong. There's no definite answer this time. We're no longer finding the double integral of a complex quadratic equation - instead we have to think and voice our opinions. I haven't done that for so long that I don't think I can form my own opinions anymore.
"Whaddya mean, Do I agree with Immanual Kant's notion of treating others as ends in themselves? Um, why don't I solve this differential equation for you - using 5 different methods?"
