Sorting Through the Clutter If you somehow were able to unearth my diary amidst the clutter of my room, then you would probably find something like this... |

![]() Tuesday, July 29, 2003 We wanted to go dancing but didn't want to go all the way down to Toronto on a Thursday night. So we decided to visit 'My Apartment in Mississauga' - I've heard lots of good things about it. Unfortunately, the bouncer was way rude. If you were under 25, you had to present two pieces of ID. HELLO!? Who carries around two pieces of ID to a club? We tried persuading him to overlook the two pieces of ID rule. But he wouldn't budge - figuratively and literally (he was pretty big-boned). Why would you turn down three good-looking asian girls from a club? We left in a huff and went back to the car. This car, with 3 guys inside, pulled up while we were getting into our car. "Hey! Where are you 3 pretty ladies going? The club is over there." "They wouldn't let us in - we're too young." "Aww..that's too bad. Why don't you girls come back with us to my apartment? Get it..my apartment instead of My Apartment? "Uh. no." "C'mon. It'll be like the same thing as -" "No really, you might as well stop talking. No amount of persausion is gonna make us change our minds." So we left and decided to go to 'On the Curve'. It's this bar/restaurant/club in Mississauga - and a yuppie hangout. Most of the people there were hanging out after work. But the music was good and we had a great time. The bouncer was great too. I would definitely go back. That's why we were there again on Friday night - this time with the whole crew in tow. posted by Jenn | 11:20 AM | |
