Sorting Through the Clutter
If you somehow were able to unearth my diary amidst the clutter of my room, then you would probably find something like this...

The first sign of summer has appeared: my first sunburn of the year. Dragonboat practice on Saturday was super long: 2 hours of intense rowing since it's our last practice before the big Toronto Dragonboat Races (which happens to be next Saturday..*hint, hint*). I thought the Cancun sun last summer must've toughened up my sun a bit. I mean, Ontario sun doesn't compare to the scorching Mexico Sun! But my skin turned a nice lobster pink this morning. I guess wandering around the Mississauga Waterfront Festival for 5 hours afterwards also aggravated my newly sunburnt skin. Note to everyone: Don't forget the sunscreen!

The waterfront festival was a barrel of laughs. My inner child was totally satisfied after an afternoon of cotton candy, carnival rides, ferris wheels, and caramel apples. Today's the last day. If you have some time, go check it out. I hear there are fireworks tonight for the big finale. Your father might think that you planned it all for his big day today. (you did remember, didn't you?)
