Sorting Through the Clutter
If you somehow were able to unearth my diary amidst the clutter of my room, then you would probably find something like this...

I went to my cousin's wedding last weekend. It was so beautiful. and the whole time there, I kept on saying "I can't believe he's getting married". It was confirmation that we have all grown up. He's getting married, gonna start a family, gonna get settled down and probably get a dog...a white one to match the picket fences. :)

I had a great time at the wedding. It was one of those chinese culture mingled with western culture weddings. They had the traditional tea-pouring ceremony and dim sum lunch. But they also had a dance floor for us to boogie it down into the morning hours. It was hilarious to see my uncle cut a rug out on the dance floor. He's great. My favourite partof the day was probably the cocktail and reception hour before the banquet. I got to mingle with all my relatives and extended family and friends...some I hadn't seen in years.

I was chatting with one of my cousins that I hadn't seen since I was 14. I was asking what he was doing. Turns out that he's a consultant at a management consulting company. While we were catching each other up on what we were currently doing in our lives, I couldn't help but think back to our childhood days. We used to play hide-n-seek in our aunt's enormous house during Christmas gatherings and now we're finishing up university and working full-time, doing grown up things at our grown-up jobs. and all I wanted to do was yell out "Tag, you're it!"
