Wednesday, May 14, 2003 heehee..I'm horrible. I'm too lazy for dial-up...which means I only update once a week when I drive down to Hamilton for my summer class. I still have high-speed access here in good ol' hammy-town. Hmm..on second thought, I'm not that lazy after all. I mean, I drive all the way to McMaster to update my blog. How many of you can say that?! But I'll be able to update my blog on quasi-daily basis, because my family is finally entering the 21st century...we're getting high-speed at home in Mississauga!! woohoo! So what's been happening in the little world of Jenn lately? Let's see, I've been unemployed now for two whole weeks. It's such a novel experience. I've never been able to lounge around and do nothing during my summer days since I've started university. I'm quite enjoying it actually. I've somehow to managed to keep my days relatively full of activities...ranging from lunch dates with my employed friends to shopping trips with my fellow unemployed comrades to practices with my dragonboat team. Oh, I actually have a job interview tomorrow for a summer engineering position. To that, I give a reserved "yay!". I'm happy because I might actually land a job now. On the other hand, my enjoyable vacation may come to an end. Ok ok, I'll stop whining. I've seriously got to learn how to count my blessings. On a side note, come cheer me on at Centre Island for the Toronto Dragonboat Festival on the June 21st weekend!!
