Sunday, March 16, 2003 I'm looking at this gorgeous sunset right now. I think it's the Hamilton pollution fumes that make the sky a brilliant fuschia at this time of the day since I don't see these kind of sunsets at home in 'sauga. I seriously have the most beautiful view of the sunset from my room. Streaks of lavender, fuschia, and blue gray clouds all blended together right above the ESSO station sign. So it's been a couple of days since I last updated. I found this gorgeous evening dress on Friday for $20 from Laura for the Asian Focus Formal. Looks like I didn't need a Jenn Formal Fund after all. Haha..this year has been the year of bargains! But I guess it's all meant to be since I'm so poor this year. I bought another dress from Fairweather in January for $10, which I wore to the other two formals I went to earlier in the term. Woohoo! Three formals this year and I only spent $30 bucks on dresses. I had a surprisingly good time at the AF formal yesterday. I'm usually not really interested in AF events. The food was a little disappointing, but the music was pretty good and the company was super. The girls looked beautiful and boys looked so hot. Yes, guys in suits can get away wirh murder. Hmm..I guess that's why the mafia are always dressed in formal wear. We crashed the Arts & Science formal for a while since they were just next door. Jen and her house was there so we decided to drop by. They came by and partied with us afterwards since we had the better music. :) Went to "cheung K" - or sing karaoke (for the non-yellow folks) after the formal. So jokes...I haven't been to karaoke for awhile. And Hamilton Karaoke is soo cheap...since there are hardly any asian folks here. posted by Jenn | 7:03 PM |
